Book review on Weapons of Mass Instruction

John Taylor Gatto's book Weapons of Mass instruction tells the story of how schooling was made compulsory, and goes against the family culture, wants parents trapped into schooling because they want Employees instead of independent thinkers.

Terms like psychological alienation, same class ages, classical conditioning through bells like Pavlovs dogs, interruption through stringent times, loads of interruption and basically being told what to do every step of the way makes children good employees.

Thank you to the Industrialists who ironically never went to school themselves: i.e Andrew Carnegie and John Rockefeller.
